There is as such no pass marks. Grading is relative and percentile scores are given. Different colleges have diffeferent percentile cut-offs. Hope this helps.

This is to inform you that CAT is not like a school or a college exam which only needs to be passed. The different colleges take CAT percentile as their eligibility criteria. You dont need any passing marks in cat. It is online computer based exam and its result comes in percentile. For top b-schools like iims ,sp jain,fms you need to score 98-100 % 

below that percentile you can get call from cap iims and new iims

• Above 90 percentile you have the chances of getting admission gr8 University
• In near future salary package is nearly high because of better placement track records of University
