Hello,

Your board exam percentages (Maths: 83%, Physics: 72%, Chemistry: 54%) do not directly determine your JEE Main marks, as JEE is a separate entrance test. Your JEE score will depend on your performance in the exam, question difficulty, and negative marking. However, if you share your JEE percentile, I can estimate your rank and possible NIT/college options based on previous trends.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

To estimate your JEE Main score, we'll use the marks obtained in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Here's a rough calculation:

Marks Calculation

- Maths: 83/100 × 30 (weightage) = 24.9

- Physics: 72/100 × 30 (weightage) = 21.6

- Chemistry: 54/100 × 30 (weightage) = 16.2

Total Marks

Total marks = 24.9 + 21.6 + 16.2 = 62.7

Normalization and Percentile Calculation

JEE Main scores are normalized and converted to percentiles. The normalization process ensures fairness across different exam sessions.

Assuming a moderate difficulty level and average performance of candidates, here's a rough estimate of your percentile:

- Marks: 62.7

- Percentile: around 60-70% (approximate)

Keep in mind that this is a rough estimate and actual scores may vary. The official JEE Main scoring process is more complex, involving multiple factors like difficulty levels, candidate performance, and normalization.

Hello there,

JEE Main marks are not directly calculated based on board exam percentages. Your JEE Main score depends on your performance in the exam, not your board marks. However, if you're asking about your normalized percentile , it depends on factors like difficulty level and number of candidates.

If you're asking about eligibility for JEE Advanced , you need to be in the top 20 percentile of your board or score at least 75% aggregate (65% for SC/ST) in PCM.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello

Your Class 12 board marks (Maths 83, Physics 72, Chemistry 54) do not directly determine your JEE Main score . JEE Main is a separate exam with a total of 300 marks and your score depends on your performance in that exam .

your board marks are considered for eligibility where you need at least 75% (for general category) or be in the top 20 percentile of your board for NITs, IIITs and CFTIs .

Hope this gives you the clarity you need.
