NO , mathematics is not a compulsory subject in class 12th unless you wasn't to go for s pecific stream like Science (PCM) or Commerce with Math.

However, if you are planning for certain courses like B.Tech, B.Sc. (Math), Economics (Hons.), or some BBA programs , then having Math in Class 12 might be required.
