There is official figure provided about the average and maximum number of students who write AAT exam every year. But as for the last year that is 2018, around 2,30000 candidates cleared IITJEE mains to appear for advanced as well as AAT exam. And accordingly that's been the average number.  But for the maximum part there is no official record .
