Both these branches are good.CSE has more scope than IT.CSE - computer science engineering and IT - information technology. CSE deals with the course curriculum covering both hardware and softwares. IT deals with more software oriented ,installation development and implementation of computer systems and applications.CSE students study about implementation,design and management of information system of both software and hardware process.CSE Students has more job opportunities in corporate sector than public sector.professional can join as data analyst,software developer, junior programmer,network manager etc..  IT specialists are required in almost all range of employment fields such as finance,arts,medicine,defence and in other areas.Many job opportunities are available for IT candidates all over india.Hope this information helps you.

Computer Science and Engineering , a degree program that combines aspects of both computer science and computer engineering program .

Control Systems Engineering , a field of engineering concerning how to design systems that reacts to input in desirable ways.

IT stands for Information Technology in context of computers. Information Technology uses computers and software to manage information .

Information Technology deals with electronic computers and computer software to store, process, convert, protect, transmit and retrieve information securely.

The major difference between both these field is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes

while, Computer Science deals with the science that facilitates these applications. On the other hand, IT is just the selection of the proper software or hardware for the task.

Both the branches are best in their respective domains.

However CSE is more demanding and related to software engineering whereas IT is more related to hardware side of computer .

So, if you are having both the option with you then go according to your choise.

But more preferable is CSE Computer Science Engineering according to today's demand .
