It's not necessary in case you aren't interested in IIMs and FMS. Rather, give CAT if you want to get these top colleges. Otherwise, you can give other entrance exams like IIFT, XAT and symbiosis management exam. So, prepare well for the rest top non-CAT College exams Best wishes!

4. MAT Entrance Exam. (Management Aptitude Test).

5. ATMA Entrance Test. (AIMS TEST FOR MANAGEMENT ADMISSIONS).

6. NMAT Entrance Exam. (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test).

7. SNAP Entrance Exam.(Symbiosis National Aptitude Test).

8. IIFT Entrance Exam. (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade).

9. IRMA Entrance Exam. (Institute of Rural Management Anand).

10. MICAT Entrance Exam. (MICA Admission Test).

11. TISSNET Entrance Exam. (Tata Institute of Social Sciences).

Jaise IIT ke JEE MAINS AND Advance dene hote hain but baki colleges ke apne exams hote hain waise hi CAT sirf IIMS and other colleges ke lie hote hain baki bahaut sare alag alag entrance exam hain jaise XAT, MAT, NMAT. Aisa kahun nai likha ki aapko MBA ke lie CAT dena jaroori hai.

In order to do MBA, its not a necessity nor a compulsion to have given the CA.

The only requirement is that you should have a bachelors graduation degree from any reputable college,

And also you should have a minimum of 55 percentile.
