DNB from a reputed institute is better than having MD from a mediocre college. In PG, the patient exposure , clinical scenarios, hands on experience, good guides are important factors. A good college provides all this. And according to MCI regulations, for jobs DNB and MD shall be treated equally in terms of education. We in AIIMS Bhubaneswar have a new faculty joining as associate professor being a DNB from PGI Chandigarh. So job opportunities equally exist.
