Hey,

Thrombolytic or fibrinolytic drugs dissolve blood clots by activating plasminogen, which forms a cleaved product called plasmin. Plasmin is a proteolytic enzyme that is capable of breaking cross-links between fibrin molecules, which provide the structural integrity of blood clots. The fibrinolytic mechanism is assumed to remove formed fibrin from within blood vessels and the tissues, and to play an important role in maintaining vascular patency in balance with blood coagulation and resultant fibrin formation.

Thank you

I hope this will help you
