In the given question, 13, 23, 33, 43,.. if we observe the trend then,

• 13
• 13 + 10 = 23
• 23 + 10 = 33
• 33 + 10 = 43

Hence, the next numbers will be,

• 43 + 10 = 53
• 53 + 10 = 63
• 63 + 10 = 73 and so on..

i.e. the series will be, 13, 23, 33, 43, 53, 63, 73,...

If we look at the series we notice that the number succeeding the previous number is an increment of 10 of that preceding number that is

23=13+10,

33=23+10

43=33+10

therefore the next number will be

43+10=53, which is the required answer.

You didn't mention the question completely. I solved a similar question a few days back. It's not about completing the series but finding the odd number from the given numbers.

Here all the numbers are prime except 33. 33 is divisible by 1, 11 and 33. The rest number  are only divisible by either 1 or themselves so they are prime.

So the odd one out is 33 as it is not a prime number and rest of the numbers in series are prime.
