First value is 1*1=1

Second values is 2*2=4

Third value is 3*3=9

Forth value is 4*4=16

And so on...

So next value will be 5*5=25

In this series 1,4,9,16,..., every number is the square of the natural numbers. Like:

1² = 1

2²= 4

3² = 9

4² = 16

5² = 25

6² = 36 (and goes on)

So, series will be 1,4,9,16,25,36.
