Hello dear!

First of all, congratulations on scoring 403 in NEET. Getting admission in government BAMS (Ayurveda) colleges in Rajasthan with this score will depend on your category and the cutoff for that particular year. Usually, for General category students, the cutoff for government Ayurveda colleges in Rajasthan goes a bit higher, but for OBC, SC, or ST categories, 403 can give you a fair chance. In the first round, sometimes it may be difficult if seats are limited, but don’t lose hope. Even if you don’t get a seat in round one, there are good chances in round two or mop-up rounds as many seats get reshuffled. I suggest you fill maximum choices of government Ayurveda colleges during counseling. Rajasthan has good BAMS colleges in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and other districts.

Thank you for asking, wishing you the very best for your admission!

Good afternoon ,with a NEET 2025 score of 403, you have a realistic chance of getting admission into a government Ayurveda college in Rajasthan under the state quota, especially if you belong to a reserved category (OBC, SC, ST).

Here’s what you should know:

Cutoff Trends: For BAMS in Rajasthan, government colleges typically have cutoffs ranging from 370 to 460 for reserved categories. For general category, cutoffs may go above 480–500.

Counselling Authority: The Directorate of AYUSH, Rajasthan conducts counselling for BAMS admissions. You’ll need to register on their official portal once counselling begins.

Seat Availability: Rajasthan has several government Ayurveda colleges, including:

National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur

Government Ayurvedic College, Jodhpur

Government Ayurvedic College, Udaipur

Government Ayurvedic College, Kota

Current Status: The revised merit list for NEET UG 2025 state quota counselling has already been released, and choice filling is open from August 12 to 14. Round 1 seat allotment will be announced on August 18, 2025.

You Should Do Now

Check your name in the merit list on the Rajasthan NEET counselling portal.

Fill your college choices before August 14.

Prioritize government BAMS colleges in your choice list.

conclusion : if you are from reserve category then you may get seat in first round.

With 403 marks in NEET and applying through Rajasthan state quota for BAMS, it might be difficult to get a seat in a government Ayurvedic college in the first round, because usually the cutoff for government BAMS seats under state quota is a bit higher. However, you still have a chance in later rounds if seats remain vacant or the cutoff drops. I suggest you still fill your preferences for all government BAMS colleges in Rajasthan during counselling and also keep private colleges as a backup.
