In MHT CET, questions come from both Class 11 and 12 syllabus, with more weight given to Class 12 chapters (about 80%) and the rest from Class 11 (around 20%). Every subject—Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology—has important chapters. For example, Class 12 topics like Electrostatics, Organic Chemistry, and Calculus carry more questions. While the exact weightage can change slightly every year, focusing more on Class 12 topics and practicing previous year papers can help you score better.

Hi aspirant,

It's critical to realize that the MHT CET does not formally publish a set weighting of marks for each chapter. Every year, the distribution of questions among the chapters may vary. However, we can determine that the Class 12 syllabus has about 80% of the questions, while the Class 11 syllabus contains about 20% of the questions based on the syllabus and data from prior years.
To better grasp the actual distribution and degree of difficulty, it is recommended to use last year's question papers and practice exams.

All the best!
