Hello aspirant

Usually all NITs have got high speed CORE ( multiples of 10 Gbits/s )

Gigabit internet which is deployed campus wide using fibre optic cables distributed using 10Gbits scalable CAT 6A cables

The Internet Speed in all NITs  is enough to watch 4k videos in you tube without buffering and at any time of the dayeven at peak hrs

.  In some NITs the average speed lies around 160-200 Mbps at any time of the day. And, while downloading from YouTube the average speed lies around 200-320 Mbps throughout the day.

All units are in Mbps not MBps.

1 MBps = 8 Mbps

Dear aspirant,

If you would tell me which nit are you talking about then i would tell you more accurately what's the condition in that specific nit for internet. Nowadays lan is provided in every room so that nobody faces any trouble regarding internet connective but still in some nits there are issues related internet.
