According to the NEET MDS 2025 exam pattern and trends, the minimum qualifying percentile for the candidates belonging to SC category is 40th percentile. In marks, it should typically translate to a score of around 230–250 rank out of 960, although it does vary each year on the basis of difficulty and the number of students who take it.

However, qualifying is not enough for a government dental seat. Typically, you will need a 300+ score to even be competitive for a SC seat in a top government college. Depending on the specific college's cut offs may vary, so be sure to see the previous year's AIQ and state quota cut off during counseling.
