Candidates whose rank will fall under the IIIT Allahabad cutoff range specified by the authorities will be able to participate in the admission process. The admission is through JEE Main result. The cut off may vary according to several factors such a total number of candidates, difficulty  level of exam, categories etc. The cut off for B.Tech information technology for the year 2019 for ST category students was1086 and for the year 2018 was 1536.
