MTS defines Multi tasking staff and in this job there are many group d posts such as safaiwala, peon, etc many posts are been clubbed and known as MTS, it depends what work you are given by your department where you are placed. But the job is peon job only. In DRDO also you will have to do same job, MTS has same definition in all central government departments.
