You can apply to change your name on your aadhar card.

Hello Ayyar, these days all schools and colleges and major organisations, ask for the Adhar card. and if your name is different then, in this case, you have two options:

1) Get the name change in the Adhar card. It is easy and can be done by visiting any of the government approved Adhar card centres for free.

2) Get the name change in the school certificate, but it has to be done by the CBSE board and is a lengthy process.

In my personal advice go for the first option as its more easy and feasible.
