It is difficult for you to get NITs and you should apply in private colleges as well. The seats get filled really soon in good colleges and you shouldn't concentrate only on NITs. You may get another government college or a private college with your branch of choice. 

Think wisely

Dear student, if you belong to general category and do not have the benefit of home state quota, you won't be getting a seat in NIT Tiruchirappalli in the most favoured branches like CSE, ECE with rank around 1.8 lakh. However, you may have a chance in biotechnology if you wish to choose this.
