It depends on his branch of interest. it is difficult to get into top colleges of bengaluru, for cse or ece branch while you can try for mech, civil ,IP or electrical.however if you want to join top colleges with your desired branch then you can go through management or payment seat. If getting seat through kcet is your priority then here is the list of top colleges in Bangalore which taken in his rank.
Industrial management in dr.ambedkar college (cutoff 75k in 2018) ,  civil in MVJ college ( 2018 cutoff was 66345) ,  civil in cmrit ( 2nd or 3rd round as cutoff was 63k) ,  civil and mech in atria  ( cutoff 99528 and 1lakh) ,  civil (cutoff 94k) electronics (72k) electrical  (78k) info science (1lakh) in rajarajeshwari college ,
Electrical (66765) in dayanand sagar academy of technology (kanakpur) ,  civil mech electrical in reva with cutoff varying between 71k-80k , any branch expect cs with cutoff 60k in presidency college. 

In the above listed colleges, I would suggest you to go for civil in cmrit (priority) then civil in MVJ. Good luck!
