See, since you are a graduate and willing to make sound career in cyber security, you have a great option which is National Security Database of India. Namely, NSD, which is managed by ISAC along with NCR (National Cyber Registry). These are the bodies with were established by Indian Government mainly to train cyber security professionals in India. So, if you are willing to do so, I would suggest you to go for this. As, further on, once you are qualified in National Security Database, your profile will be shared among all the governments cyber security projects and then your contribution to those projects will make a noise. But, before stepping ahead with this, you must have sound knowledge about networking and related concepts, also knowledge about various programming languages and technologies. Once, you are well prepared with them, you can go for courses such as penetration testing or ethical hacking which may later on lead you to better employment in this field. Sorry, but I dont have much idea about pay scale as such but still I can say as far as I know, being a fresher, one should expect around 4-5 LPA in India.

As far as qualifications are concerned, you can have a degree associated with the computers background or Information technology background. Or even if you belong to some other field, even that is fine
