I have seen a lot of people opting for streams in which they do not even have any interest, but just for the sake of the college name tag, they go in for it. Never do so. Always look out for the fields in which you feel that 'yes' that's your thing. You want to learn something in it.

Colleges like BMS Banalore, Ramaiah Institue Banalore, RV college Bangalore, RV college Bangalore,etc are very prestigious colleges and even better tha alot of NITs. 

As far as NITs are concerned only the top ones should be preferred. Also not saying that they aren't good. But again, go in for the field in which you want to excell in.

No it's not about the NIT tag, it's more about this that NIT is way better than the government colleges of COMEDK. With a rank of 3800 in COMEDK, you will not be able to get CSE or IT in a government college, you will get those private colleges who are way below in ranking as compared to NIT.
