You can register for JoSAA counselling as admission to various NITs, IIITs and GFTIs occur through this procedure. The rank list considered for JoSAA counselling is one that is prepared by them based on who all applied. Any way as you belong to OBC category your admission will be based on OBC rank list. With rank of 87,000 you will be able to get some institutes. But the institutes to which you will be admitted would not be one standing on the first positions in quality and standard.

You can get NITs Agartala, Meghalaya, Hamirpur etc. according to last year's opening and closing rank.
