To qualify, candidates from the OBC category must not exceed 35 years of age as of August 1st in the year they appear for the UPSC examination, such as August 1st, 2025 for the UPSC 2025 exam. But since you will be more than 35 years in 2025 se you are ineligible for that.

But you can give UPSC 2024.

Hope you are doing well ! You will have a chance to give upsc in 2024 but in 2025 it will not be possible for you because you can see the eligibility criteria below !;

Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age. General Category & EWS : 32 years; 6 attempts. OBC (with certificate): 32 years + 3 years; 9 attempts . SC/ST: 32 years + 5 years; unlimited attempts.

Hence obc candidates get a chance till age of 35 only.

UPSC considers age as of August 1st of the exam year. For UPSC 2024 , the age limit is calculated based on August 1st, 2024.The general age limit for UPSC is 32 years. OBC candidates get an additional 3 years relaxation. So, the upper age limit for OBC in UPSC 2024 would be 35 years as of August 1st, 2024.Since you were born on July 3rd, 1990, you would be 34 years and 1 month old on August 1st, 2024. This falls within the age limit for OBC candidates.
