Dear Sai, every candidate has a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main. Candidates can appear twice for the entrance test in a year. So from 2019 onwards, JEE Main number of attempts in total will be 6. Depending on the age, the eligibility criteria for JEE Main will facilitate a candidate to appear for 3 years. However, for JEE Advance, you can attempt twice in consecutive years. So you have 2 attempts for JEE Advanced.
