hi,

see as for the top university and colleges there is no rules i Know about for keeping the original marksheets of students. college authority generally accept the xerox copy of the marksheet or xerox of necessary documents . however you should direct contact with college authority for thats issue. however if this things has happened with all students and your seniors than you have to accept that and wait for completion of first year.

i had made my obc ncl certificate last year in October and it says it has a validity of 1 year from the date of issue, but in jee mains brochure it says to submit a certificate made after 1st Jan 2022 and when i went to renew the certificate they said it cant be until the validity is over.
