EWS certificate is an income and asset certificate issued to the citizens belonging to the economically weaker sections of the society. The income is assessed on the basis of latest income certificate based on latest financial year. The EWS certificate will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue irrespective of financial year in which it is issued. So your certificate was valid till 21-01-2021. and you need to apply for renewal now.
