You have not mentioned regarding which exam you are indicating. It is impossible to say 82 is a good mark as records changes everyyear. If a mark was a bench mark previous year it won't be same current year and will never be as the candidates changes and the total number appear changes and it goes on increasing only.

To say that it is a good score , if you have scored above 80% of total marks which shows that you are open to many top college options. this is the only point which makes the score good.
