Document required for Fees reimbursement are:

• Income certificate
• Reservation certificate and
• Salary certificates

So yeah! you need the salary certificates in order to avail the facility. For convenor quota, the student is eligible for fees reimbursement if and only if the annual income of the student is less than Rs. 1L. Apart from this the student who have rank less than 10,000 in AP EAMCET are also eligible for the reimbursement.
