The EWS programme was created by the government to assist pupils from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Your family's total income must be less than 1,00,000 PA to be eligible for this scheme. Because income levels of 8 lakh and 6 lakh are both ineligible for this scheme, you should have no concerns in the future.
