One should choose a course which interests him. If your friend likes the jobs related to hotel management, then his decision is correct. It's not that only B.Tech degree is good, hotel management is equally good. There are plenty of job opportunities. One shouldn't be pressurized to take up a subject, whatever interests him the most, he should pursue with that. If he works hard for a good result in his stream, he will definately have a bright future ahead.
