Presidency University, Kolkata has 38 seats for BA (Hons) in english. Out of these 38  atleast 15 are reserved seats so if you are from UR category the chances of you getting a seat with 135 rank is really difficult. For BA English the candidates must have obtained 80 per cent marks in Arts OR 85 per cent marks in Science/Commerce and 75 per cent marks in English.

The cut off is the aggregate of per centage scored in last exam plus the marks obtained in entrance test.However I would suggest you to wait till the counselling is done and over with cause you still might get a chance.  All the best.
