From your query I presume that you have missed out the last date for applying for the improvement examination although you have applied for the same and that your payment status is at pending even though you have made the payment. The most definite outcome of this scenario is that your candidature might be cancelled for the improvement examination as you have missed the last date for applying. But since you have already applied and paid the desired fees although the status is pending, I request you to address this issue to the appropriate exam authorities through post stating your issue and request them to consider this matter and accept and expedite your candidature for the exam.

Please be informed that there is a possibility of your letter to be rejected so if that is the case then you can try giving the examination as a private candidate through NIOS, i.e., National Institute of Open Schooling in order to not skip the year and thus appear for the examination in the same academic year.
