ADMISSIONS

PICT offers UG and PG programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. The college also runs Ph.D programs in Computer Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. PICT Admissions are strictly based on merit only. Undergraduate admissions are as per the guidelines of Directorate of Technical Education. PICT also offers Ph.D programme in Computer Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

The institute considers the 12th exam and JEE Main score for admissions. The Candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).

The cutoff for Pict was around 130+ last year. Your score of 78.22 if compared to last year seems quite low to get you through.

My suggestion to you would be to look for other colleges. There are many private colleges in the country that provide extremely good education and placements.

Considering the previous year JEE Mains cut off for PICT, the minimum JEE Mains mark for admission in PICT is 130+. Your score 78.22 is very much low to get admission in PICT through JEE Mains. The admission criteria in PICT is through complete merit based on HSC marks and JEE Mains score. So try some other college and carry on towards your goal.
