It will totally depend on your home state i.e, in which state do you belong. In NITs there is 50% seats are reserved for their home state students. Most of NITs has closing rank above 70,000 for home state students. Though you can get Production Engineering in BIT Mesra . Apart from it you can choose private colleges who use JEE rank as their entrance like Thapar University, Amrita University etc .
