Hi Aspirant,

It would be much easier to apply for this if you have a bachelor's degree .Generally most new channels accept aspirants with bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, mass communication or in English Literature. It would be much easier if you are having a degree and you wont face any problem in interview. Also it is much necessary that you have a good hold over the recent happenings across the world.

Hope it helps!!

Hello Manish,

To become a news anchor you should first have atleast 50% in 10+2 from a recognized board. Then youneed to get a bachelor's degree in mass communication or journalism. many universities conduct entrance exam sfor admission in same course, some of them are:

  • IIMC entrance exam
  • JNU-EE exam
  • IPUCET
  • AMU-EE
  • JMI-EE

And after getting bachelor's degree, you can either go for masters degree in same stream or you can directly go for entry level jobs. After gaining 2 or 3 years experince, chances for you to get a job with News anchor title will increase.

Thankyou
