With 418 marks in NEET 2025 (OBC category):

All India Quota (15%) – Not likely

State Quota (85%) – Possible in some states with lower cutoffs

Good chance for BDS, BAMS, BHMS in govt colleges

Chances better in states like MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Bihar

Check your state cutoff for accurate info.

Hello,

With a NEET 2025 score of 418 and OBC category, getting a seat in a government medical college is quite diffic ult , especially in All India Quota (AIQ) .

However, you may have a small chance in your home state quota , if you belong to a state where cut-offs are relatively lower. States like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh usually have higher cut-offs, so chances are low there.

You should also consider deemed universities or private colleges , if your budget allows.

Keep an eye on the state counselling and apply in all rounds, including mop-up round . Sometimes seats get vacant and cut-offs drop slightly.

Hope it helps !
