good afternoon, with 440 score chances are for Government Colleges

Expected EWS cutoff for top government BAMS colleges: 500–600 marks

With 440, you may be on the borderline for lower-tier government colleges or state quota seats in less competitive regions

Private Colleges

EWS cutoff in private colleges: typically ranges from 380–480 marks

Your score of 440 is well within range for many reputable private BAMS institutions

I suggest you to Participate in multiple state counseling rounds (especially in UP, MP, Rajasthan, Bihar)

Use your EWS certificate to claim reservation benefits

Explore Mop-Up rounds where cutoffs tend to drop

With a NEET score of 440 under the EWS category, there is a fair possibility of getting a BAMS seat, especially through state quota counselling. While the top government Ayurvedic colleges under the All India Quota may have higher cutoffs—often above 470—several states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Rajasthan have seen EWS cutoffs around 400–450 in previous years, particularly in the later rounds. This means there’s still a good chance for a seat in a government or semi-government college, depending on how this year’s trends go.

For private BAMS colleges, the chances are much stronger with this score, as many of them accept students in this range . Also, don’t forget to participate in the mop-up rounds, as they often open up new opportunities

Hello,

You say that your NEET marks are 440, and you belong in the EWS category. With your marks and category, it's unlikely that you will get admission to BAMS. But there is good news: while you can't get a government seat in BAMS, you have a good chance in private colleges. Because if you have marks of 500 marks in NEET you can get seat in Government BAMS. But, in your scenario you have to go for private colleges.

I hope it resolves your query!!

Dear candidate,

Scoring 440 in NEET under EWS (General) gives you fair chances for BAMS, especially in private or semi-government colleges via state quota. Government college chances vary by state cutoff. For AIQ, chances are moderate.

With a NEET score of 440 in the EWS category, you have a fair chance of getting admission in private BAMS colleges and possibly in semi-government colleges through state quota. However, chances in top government BAMS colleges are low as their cutoffs are generally higher. You should also participate in state counselling rounds and check for management quota seats if needed.
