First of all congratulations on such a good rank. The Directorate of Medical Education ( DME), Chennai takes the authority in admission to various PG medical courses in  Tamilnadu. Candidates those who have successfully submitted the application form will be eligible and included in the state rank list. The application for the same is expected to start from the third week of March. In Tamilnadu 50% of the seats are reserved for State quota and rest 50% All India Quota.The counselling authority for AIQ seats is  Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Total number of seats (AIQ and State Quota) in Tamilnadu is:-

780( MD Courses)
470(MS Courses)
394(PG Diploma Courses)

Since there are 780 seats inMD (government and private), oout of which 50% are reserved for State Quota. You have kind of 50-50 chance of getting a clinical degree.
