The time it takes for NPTEL to verify documents is not fixed but it generally varies depending upon the volume of registration (if many people are registering, it may take longer), clarity of the uploaded documents etc. While some students get their documents verified verified within 1-2 days,for others it can take upto a week. If there's any issue,the portal will notify you, so It's important to keep checking regularly. If the status doesn't change after 5-7 days, It's best to contact NPTEL support through the email mentioned on your portal or get in touch with your college SPOC if you applied through your Institute.
