Prince in order to make your OBC caste certificate eligible for JEE Advanced examination you need to have the certificate in the format given by JEE Advanced examination authority. You can check the format in the link given below:

The authorities competent to issue Caste Certificates are indicated below:

• District Magistrate/ Additional Magistrate/ Collector/ Deputy Commissioner/ Additional Deputy Commissioner/ Deputy Collector/ Ist Class Stipendiary Magistrate/ Sub-Divisional Magistrate/ Taluka Magistrate/ Executive Magistrate/ Extra Assistant Commissioner (not below the rank of Ist Class Stipendiary Magistrate)
• Chief Presidency Magistrate / Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate / Presidency Magistrate
• Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar’
• Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate and/or his family resides

So please confirm the authority from where you have got your certificate issued is eligible or not. In case if it is not eligible then also don't panic you have enough time around 2 months to get it done correctly because you will need the certificate at the time of admission but if you are not able to present it then your seat can be taken away from you at any point of admission or even after admission you can be restigated if they found any error while document verification in your caste certificate. jee advance 2018 exam on 20th May.Only during admission ,you need obc certificate.So don't worry.But keep in mind,you must be keep ready your OBC certificate before your seat allotment or counseling and also your document verificAtion.
