Presidency University, Bangalore is a private university established under the Karnataka State. 

All 62 seats in the general category and only 30 in the reserved categories have been filled up.

Presidency University has the capacity to admit 705 students to all its 16 undergraduate courses.

As many as 123 undergraduate seats in the reserved categories at Presidency University have remained vacant after the second counseling, prompting the authorities to appeal to the backward classes welfare department to de-reserve them.

The second counseling will be held on August 24 to fill up 215 seats.
