Ghaziabad campus is second best campus of srm after the main campus if u consider placements , year of estbd , alumni base 

For cse - avg package 4 lpa and highest - 25 lpa (for ghaziabad)

avg package - 5 lpa and highest - 38 lpa (for kattankulathur main campus)

As per the previous year cutoff ranking , the closing rank for CSE Computer Science is 10,000 at main campus chennai.so there is no possibilities to get CSE branch in SRM chennai .If there any possibility you can able to get it in other than first counseling .The SRM campus in Ghaziabad is also a good campus but here the chennai campus is the main campus so it is preferred more for education at SRM.
