Hi dear,

According to official notification age limit for NDA is16.5 to 19.5. If he has born in 1st may 2001 then he is not under age limit so he can not apply for NDA. You can check detail here

No as per the eligibility criteria a candidate born on or after 2nd July 2001 and on or before 1st July 2004 is only eligible to appear for NDA 1 2020.

Since your son's age is out of the range mentioned in the notification your son is not eligible to apply read out the full notification follow the link given below
