My percentile is 96.46 and crl rank is 39850 . Your son's rank which you have mentioned is category rank ?

Hi aspirant, with this rank he can get a seat in NIT but may not get his desired branch. I would suggest you to join the NIT with whatever branch you get because you can change your branch after 1st year. Your son may surely get some NIT.But having said that,the branch is what it all matters as the competition goes really high for top notch branches.
