Hello Aspirant,

Students are admitted to Sainik Schools in grades VI and IX based on their performance in the entrance exam and interview, and in class XI based on their board examination results. All Sainik Schools are now accepting applications from female candidates for admission to Class VI.

Qualifications for enrollment in Sainik Schools' Class VI: For admission to the academic year 2024–2025, a candidate must be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, 2024, which means that he or she must have been born between April 1, 2012, and March 31, 2014, inclusive.

Hii There,

Sainik Schools enroll students in classes VI and IX based on their performance in the Entrance Examination and an Interview. For Class XI, admission is based on the marks obtained in the Class X Board examination. As of now, girls are also eligible for admission to Class VI in all Sainik Schools.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks
