As jee mains dates can't be shifted so there is no way nta will provide you opportunity to shift the exam as per your own convenience. But this year jee mains is conducted four times a year so you can skip this attempt as you can't skip your practical.

Since dates , shift for JEE are allotted randomly it is not possible to change and NTA doesn't provide any provision for this. As you are aware that this time Jee mains is going to be in 4 different sessions you can work for the remaining two sessions.
