Hello Mani,

The NEET examination serves as an gateway for pursuing medicine in the colleges across India.

The NEET requires certain eligibility criteria to be met by medical aspirants in order to appear for the examination.

Candidates are required to have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET 2020.

Candidates must have completed 17 years of age.

The qualifying marks to be considered are aggregate marks for PCB subjects:
UR - 50%
OBC/SC/ST - 40%
PWD - 45%

If your son meets the above mentioned eligibility criteria, then he is readily eligible for appearing in the NEET examination.

Hope this helps you. We wish you the best for your future endeavours!

Regards
