Hello student,

The procedure for applying for a new transfer certificate varies from state to state and also from one institute to other. You can contact your school to know the procedure as some institute requires affidavit regarding the lost certificate, some wants police report and an FIR copy and some wants only application.

You can also advertise regarding the lost TC and also keep the ad paper as a copy with the FIR. Once the file is submitted, the school will provide you with a duplicate certificate of your TC.

Cheers!
