Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

With a UR rank of 2810 and an EWS rank of 412 in the BCECE counseling securing a seat in the Computer Science Engineering at a government college could be competitive but is not guaranteed.

Generally the top government engineering colleges have higher cutoffs for CSE which may place them beyond your UR rank. However your EWS rank could improve your chances as many institutions offer reserved seats for EWS candidates which may have lower cutoffs compared to the general category.

Based on the previous year trends you might be able to secure a seat in CSE at some government engineering colleges particularly in the institutions where the demand for CSE is slightly lower or in newer branches or colleges. You can  maximize your chances by staying updated with the cutoff trends during the counseling process and can consider attending all the counseling rounds and be flexible with your branch preferences and college choices.

Hope this resolves your query.
