Hello K.Viswa,

Both are very good and bright options in the engineering course. But in India the advantages for dual degree is very limited. If you want t pursue MBA after your engineering ou are wasting one extra year, as dual degree course is of 5 years. If you have such plans to do your MBA, then i would suggest you not to go for dual degree. Or else you can opt for it, if yiu dont plan on doing our M.Tech from abroad.

M.tech in electrical engineering is also very good option because its in the top 10 highest paying engineering jobs. But the only thing is you can go for Mtech after completing 4 years of your UG program. That is in total 6 years. Whereas in dual degree you can do it in 5 years.

The job and salary will depend on the college. If you are doing both of them from IIT, the package will be the same.

Hope this helps you and clear your doubts
